Originally from a small town in southern Wisconsin, Nissa Kubly attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison obtaining a degree in studio Art and a Teaching Certificate in Art K-12. She continued her education at Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ) completing a Masters of Fine Art program in the area of Metals & Jewelry. Since graduate school, Ms. Kubly has been constructing and using her own handmade pinhole cameras. Her work has been recognized through grants from institutions such as the 3M Corporation & Phoenix Art Museum. Nissa’s work is exhibited by the Lisa Sette Gallery in Scottsdale Arizona and is a part of permanent art collections across the country.
